Our Story

Infinico emerged from a passion for exploration and the pursuit of discovery. Our mission in mineral exploration is to create value and long-lasting positive change by responsibly exploring for critical minerals

Corporate Governance

The board’s mandate is to act in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders, while maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance. Their responsibilities will include setting the company’s vision and mission, assessing and managing risks, monitoring performance, ensuring financial accountability and making important decisions such as approving major investments and hiring top executives

Tom Infinico team photo
Tom Panoulias

Executive Chairman

Tom Panoulias is a capital markets professional. He previously held senior management positions with Echelon Capital Markets, Fraser Mackenzie Limited, and Dundee Capital Markets. Prior to his capital markets experience, Tom held senior corporate development roles at Kinross Gold Company and TVX Gold Inc. He obtained a B.Comm degree from the University of Toronto, and is a member of the Canadian Institution of Mining and Metallurgy and the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.

Sam Walding

Chief Executive Officer

Mr Walding has 7 years mineral exploration experience across Europe and North America, along with 2 years in the Australian mining sector. He served 8 years in the British Armed Forces where he gained extensive operational and strategic planning experience and developed strong leadership and management skills. He has played a leading role building and developing mineral exploration companies across different commodities and jurisdictions. He holds a Masters degree in Applied and Environmental Geology from Leicester University, UK.

Stephen Sulis

Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary

Stephen Sulis graduated with distinction from Capilano University, North Vancouver, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as well as an advanced diploma in international business studies. He is currently working as Chief Financial Officer with a number of companies listed on both the TSX Venture Exchange and Canadian Securities Exchange, predominately focused on the resources sector, both in Canada and around the globe. His professional experience includes exploration and mining companies, implementation of accounting software, various equity financings and implementation of internal control policies.

Szabolcs Orban

Vice President, Exploration

Mr Orban holds a BSc (Hons) in geology and MSc degree in geochemistry, mineral exploration, petrology and mineralogy. He is a Qualified Person, as defined by NI 43-101 and has over 8 years of experience in the exploration sector working across Europe and North America. Mr Orban has extensive experience planning, budgeting, and executing complex exploration programs, including multi-rig drill campaigns and regional geophysical surveys. He has worked on a variety of projects and commodities including epithermal gold, ortho-magmatic nickel, and sediment-hosted copper. Mr Orban played a key role in the discovery of a previously unrecognized 680,000 Oz gold deposit in Serbia.

Daniel James

Director

Daniel James has over 20 years of mineral exploration experience across Africa, Europe, and North America. Formerly, Daniel held the position of President with Medgold Resources Corp. from 2012 to 2019, leading a new gold-silver discovery in Serbia (May 2018) and currently sits as COO to Plethora Private Equity (2019-2023). He holds A BSc (Hons) in Geology (University of Portsmouth, UK)

Perry Ing

Director

Perry Ing has 25 years experience in the Canadian mining industry. Over the past 15 years, he has held positions as Chief Financial Officer of Mountain Province Diamonds, Kirkland Lake Gold and McEwen Mining. Prior to that he worked at Barrick Gold and Goldcorp and started his career in the mining practice at PwC. Perry obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada, Certified Professional Accountant in the United States and is also a CFA Charterholder.

Douwe van Hees

Director

Douwe van Hees is co-founder and fund manager of Plethora Private Equity which focuses on investing in early stage “grassroots” natural resource projects over the globe. The fund aims to advance these projects from the conceptual to the drill ready stage. He started his career as a private investor in junior mining companies and he worked for a junior exploration company in Canada.
