Environment
Mineral exploration by its nature requires interaction and work within the natural environment. We understand how important it is to respect, maintain, and uphold the natural habitats and environments we work in. We plan and execute our operations with a focus on minimizing our environmental footprint. This objective will be accomplished through:
- Baseline environmental studies, which included assessment and identification of any locally sensitive flora and fauna
- Consulting with host communities to understand uses of the land and water with the aim of avoiding disturbance or negative impacts
- Planning exploration work around hunting seasons and culturally and environmentally significant lands
- Monitoring of nearby waterbodies and the land prior to and following exploration drilling
- Mitigation measures designing to reduce disturbance to the environment, specifically to land and water
Health and Safety
Infinico is committed to upholding the highest standards of occupational health and safety for the well-being of our employees, contractors, and the local communities we work in. We aim to do this through:
- Ensuring the creation and maintenance of a safe working environment
- Identifying and proactively mitigating potential health and safety hazards and risks
- Providing comprehensive health and safety training
- Prompt investigation and reporting of incidents, with a focus on learning lessons to prevent their recurrence
